Darryl Dawkins, known for his backboard-shattering dunks in the NBA, passed away Thursday at age 58. Dawkins was the first player to ever be drafted out of high school and played 15 seasons in the NBA with both the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets. No cause of death was released to the public.
