In perhaps the strongest charge against Edward Snowden yet, the former head of the National Security Agency says his ex-employee is “now being manipulated by Russian intelligence.” General Keith Alexander, who retired in March, told the Australian Financial Review that he doesn’t know “when that exactly started or how deep it runs.” Snowden, of course, has been living in Moscow since last year. “Understand as well that they’re only going to let him do those things that benefit Russia, or stand to help improve Snowden’s credibility," Alexander said. “They’re not going to do things that would hurt themselves. And they’re not going to allow him to do it.”
