They're here to stay. The Federal Aviation Administration announced on Monday plans to build drone testing sites in six states. Research facilities in Alaska, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Texas, Virginia will provide diverse geography, climate, and air traffic to best try out next usages for the unmanned aircraft. "These test sites will give us valuable information about how best to ensure the safe introduction of this advanced technology into our nation's skies," Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said.
