Facebook is planning to launch a satellite to bring Internet access to remote parts of Africa, Mark Zuckerberg announced Monday. The social network is teaming up with French-based provider Eutelsat and aims to launch the first satellite in 2016. The initiative is part of its Internet.org project, which critics have said gives the social network an unfair advantage in developing Internet markets.
