Mohamad Saeed Kodaimati, of San Diego, was sentenced to eight years in prison on Monday for making false statements to the FBI and the State Department during a terrorism-related interview in March 2015. He plead guilty in October acknowledging that he lied when he said he did not know any members of ISIS.
