FBI Director: No Evidence of White House Interfering in Russia Probe

Said he has confidence in Mueller’s probe.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Thursday that he has seen no evidence the White House has tried to interfere in the ongoing investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. “I can say very confidently that I have not detected any whiff of interference with that investigation,” Wray said at the Intelligence and National Security Summit in Washington. The FBI director also said he has confidence in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
