The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Iowa said in a news release on Friday that a man was arrested on suspicion of threatening Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa. The individual, from Omaha, Robert William Simet, 64, was arrested and criminally charged, according to the release. The FBI is reportedly currently investigating the case.
