The Federal Bureau of Investigation said it will release a partially redacted transcript of communications between Orlando mass shooter Omar Mateen and law enforcement on the night of the Pulse massacre during an 11 a.m. press conference Monday. The Orlando Sentinel reports the transcripts should include a summary of negotiations made via telephone. “The reason why we’re going to limit these transcripts is to avoid re-victimizing those people that went through this horror,” Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Sunday. “But it will contain the substance of his conversations.”
