The Food and Drug Administration on Monday approved a clinical trial for a vaccine to combat the Zika virus. The vaccine will be tested using 40 healthy adults, and preliminary results are expected later this year. It is spread primarily through mosquitoes, but scientists say it can also be contracted through sexual intercourse.
