British Police Fear a Second Manchester Bomb

LEFT BEHIND

Attacker may have built more than one device, and passed it to fellow jihadis.

British police investigating the Manchester bombing fear the attacker, Salman Abedi, might have built a second device that is now in the hands of fellow jihadis, according to reports. Officers who raided the family home discovered so much bomb-making material and other components that they are concerned that he could have built a second device (or more) and passed it on to other British-based extremists, according to a report in the Telegraph. A security source told the Telegraph: “The worry is there was enough to build two or three bombs and we can’t rule that out.” Abedi is believed to have built the bomb himself at a rented apartment over the weekend, having arrived back in Manchester from Libya on Thursday. Analysts say the use of two addresses is a classic tactic to avoid detection.
