Federal Agents Hurt in Kansas Shootout

Four members of the U.S. Marshal Service Task Force were injured on Saturday night during a shootout at the Country Club Motel in Topeka, Kansas. They were looking for a suspect who exchanged fire with the agents upon arrival. Topeka police were not able to determine if the injuries they sustained were from gunshots. They also did not confirm if the suspect was captured but said the area was secure. The motel caught fire during the course of the night. The individual inside is believed to be Orlando Collins, a wanted armed robber, but that is not confirmed.
