A controversial new memoir by author Alisa Valdes, extoling the virtues of embracing femininity and renouncing anti-male feminism, has been updated with unfortunate news. On Wednesday, the Feminist and the Cowboy author posted on her blog that she had broken up with her masculine ranch-manager boyfriend because he had abused her. The post was susequently taken down, but apparently Valdes is still sticking with her newfound anti-feminist viewpoint, writing, “Feminism stole my womanhood.”
