Fendi, Lanvin, and More Fashion Week Pieces That Looked Like Animals
What a Zoo!
We expect fashion "month" to be a bit of a circus, but this year, the Fall/Winter 2014 runways were downright beastly. See some of our favorite looks and their animal doppelgängers.
Fashion "month" has come and gone, with a whirlwind of new collections presented in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. While Fashion Week in each city tends to be a zoo—between the street style circus, the celebrity-filled front rows, and the revolving designer doors—the Fall/Winter 2014 season, in particular, found things looking quite animal-like. Collections were dominated by heavy layers and oversized fur, causing many models to resemble some of their favorite furry friends. From a Comme des Garçons black mini-dress that channeled a labradoodle to a Moschino suit that resembled Holstein Friesian cattle, see looks from fashion month with their animal doppelgängers.
