Mary Ann Twitty, the Ferguson, Missouri court clerk who was fired for sending out racist emails is back at work in the same county. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Twitty is working part-time as a court clerk in Vinita Park, just a short drive from Ferguson. In November 2008, she sent an email stating that President Obama's first term would not last because “what black man holds a steady job for four years.” In June 2011 she described a man attempting to get on “welfare” for his dogs because they are “mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddies are.” The Justice Department called Twitty’s emails “unequivocally derogatory, dehumanizing, and demonstrative of impermissible bias.”
