For two weeks now, the “Fukushima 50” have been risking their lives to battle a nuclear meltdown in Japan. On Wednesday, the Daily Mail published the first photos of these workers. They wear protective body suits and masks as they work to cool fuel rods and reconnect the reactors to electricity. Five men are believed to have already died and 15 are injured. Many of the remaining workers say they know they will die from the work.
