Immortality must still be a long way off, because if anybody was going to live forever, Jack LaLanne was him. LaLanne died at age 96 of respiratory failure on Sunday at his home on Morro Bay, in central California. The fitness guru kept a sinewy, youthful physique into his 80s, after spending his life inspiring TV viewers to get off the couch and get healthy. His agent said he ate healthy and exercised every day until the end. LaLanne liked to say, "The only way you can hurt the body is not use it."
