FLA. A&M Band Members Charged for Murder

For hazing death of fellow band member.

On Friday, three defendants charged for the death of 26-year-old Robert Champion in 2011 have been convicted of manslaughter. Benjamin McNamee, Darryl Cearnel and Aaron Golson were the last to be charged out of a total of 15 band members at Florida A&M University who beat Champion to death during a hazing ritual for the school’s famed band. They face up to 15 years in prison.
