Florida halted its 2015 bear hunt after just two days after hunters killed a higher-than-expected number of animals. As many as 295 bears had been killed by Sunday, edging close to the 320 set aside for the hunt this year. Officials say the quick pace indicates a bigger bear population than they had anticipated. More than 3,200 people took part in the hunt.
