Florida Politician Wants Obama Hanged

“It’s time to arrest” Obama, Republican Florida state house candidate Joshua Black tweeted earlier this week. “Hang him high.” When a local TV station asked Black later in the week about his call for the President’s execution, he stood by his words, only admitting that death by hanging might not be a realistic request. Obama, Black argues, is responsible for the drone strikes that killed believed al Qaeda leader and U.S. citizen Anwar al-Awlaki and, accidentally, his son. “When George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin, he got a trial. And whatever was going to come out of that trial. President Obama killed a 15-year-old, somebody else’s teenage son, and gets no trial,” Black told Tampa’s Fox Channel 13 in the parking lot of a Walmart. “I know that we don’t use hanging as a method of execution here in the U.S. anymore, so be it. Whatever method is applicable for the situation, I just want justice to be served.”
