A University of Oklahoma four-star recruit de-committed from the school’s football team in the wake of a fraternity video that showed members singing a racist chant. Jean Delance, a Sooners offensive line recruit, announced on Twitter on Monday he was de-committing for personal reasons. Delance did not mention the video specifically, but Sports Illustrated’s Bob Przybylo tweeted that the video contributed to his decision. Head Coach Bob Stoops and the football team joined a campus protest on Monday to condemn a video posted online over the weekend showing members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity singing “there’ll never be a nigger at SAE” and “hanging from a tree.” Meanwhile, the house’s staff, including SAE’s cook, who is known as Howard, will also be forced to leave his job of 14 years, KOCO reports.
Meanwhile, a Vine of the SAE's reported house mother surfaced where she sings "nigger, nigger, nigger."
