Fox News has hired former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka as a “national-security strategist.” Two representatives for the network confirmed to Politico that Gorka has been hired as a contributor, while Fox News host Sean Hannity hyped up Gorka’s move to the TV circuit on his daily radio show. “Welcome to the Fox family,” Hannity told Gorka during an interview Wednesday. “You’re a true patriot hero and an amazing, amazing political analyst and strategic analyst. Thank you for being with us and we’re so happy for your success.” Gorka, whose professional credentials and ties to far-right groups repeatedly raised concerns during his time in President Trump’s administration, said it was “great to be back as part of the superb Fox family.” The former Breitbart commentator reportedly began eyeing a return to Fox News after his ouster from the White House in August. At that time, the network said there were “no plans” to hire Gorka, however.
