Four American college students were hit with an acid attack in Marseille, France, on Sunday. The female tourists, all students at Boston College, were sprayed in the face at the city’s main train station, and two of them were taken to the hospital. A 41-year-old woman was arrested, officials said. French police said the woman was “disturbed” and that they do not currently think the attack is terror-related. “It appears that the students are fine, considering the circumstances, though they may require additional treatment for burns,” said Nick Gozik, who directs Boston College’s Office of International Programs.
