British police arrested four men, aged 19, 22, 25, and 27, this week as part of an ongoing investigation into “Islamist related terrorism.” “The men have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the Commission, Preparation or Instigation of acts of Terrorism,” according to a Metropolitan police statement. But tabloid newspaper The Sun reported that the men had planned a knife attack on Queen Elizabeth, to take place at the Royal British Legion Festival on Nov. 8 at Royal Albert Hall. The United Kingdom national terror threat was raised from “substantial” to “severe” in August, meaning that a terrorist attack is considered “highly likely.”
