Maybe Chile has some advice. Just two days after the 33 Chilean miners were brought to the surface as the world looked on, four miners were trapped in a mine in Ecuador. They’re about 500 feet below the surface, and rescuers have yet to make contact with them. They’ve been trapped since 3 a.m., and at least 50 rescuers are working to free them.
