Shortly after CNN and NBC News called the race, Fox News projected that Barack Obama would win a second term—“overcoming concerns about the fragile economic recovery to edge out Republican nominee Mitt Romney.” Obama’s victories in battleground states Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Michigan played a crucial part in multiple media outlets calling the win, but Karl Rove is disputing Obama’s win, saying he does”not believe Ohio is in the Obama camp,” and thinks the call by Fox News was “premature.”
