Foxconn Technology Group—a Taiwanese electronics giant under fire for unsafe working conditions in an iPhone5 plant—denied reports Saturday that the factory is being crippled by a widespread strike of factory workers. China Labor Watch reported the incident Friday, claiming between 3,000 and 4,000 workers at a plant in Zhengzhou are striking. Foxconn said there were two “isolated, small-scale” disputes but that production continued uninterrupted. Xinhua, a Chinese state news agency, said workers were unhappy when Apple increased quality inspections of the iPhone after getting complaints about aesthetic flaws.
