France confirmed that part of a Boeing 777 wing discovered on the coast of Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean is in fact a fragment of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, as The Daily Beast’s Clive Irving said in July. Prosecutors, who are leading the French investigation, said Thursday they discovered three numbers inside the flaperon with an endoscope and they match those from the missing flight.
