At three iconic museums around the world, Maxxi in Rome, PS1 in New York and MOCA in LA, a retrospective for Francesco Vezzoli is being held. And to herald these exhibitions, there is of course, a trailer.
The Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli, a favorite of celebrities like Lady Gaga and Helen Mirren, is getting a retrospective on works from the past fifteen years called The Trinity. The trailer, shown above, is compiled from some of his more famous video works, which will be part of the exhibition at MOCA titled Cinema Vezzoli. In addition to MOCA, there will be an exhibtion at MoMA PS1 titled The Church of Vezzoli which will include a deconsecrated church from Italy containing pieces of his artistic cult. There is also a show at Maxxi in Rome, which will include a section of the artist's self-portraits.
