For once, a happy ending: The hostage situation in a French kindergarten is over. French Gendarmes entered the classroom, freeing the last of the 20 children who'd been taken hostage by a sword-wielding teen several hours before. The 17-year-old boy reportedly had been treated for depression and hadn't taken his medication for several days. He didn't threaten the children, and freed 14 over the course of the morning, including one who "more or less escaped."
