Did this not make the cut at Madame Tussauds? An art gallery in Tel Aviv has unveiled a life-size, realistic sculpture of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in his hospital bed, with an IV drip in his arm. Sharon has been in a coma since 2005, when he suffered a stroke. The artist, Noam Braslavsky, says his work “allows people in Israel to mourn the former leader. Israelis didn't have opportunity to mourn and it's come to be a kind of taboo that nobody touches.”
