A 25-year-old Indonesian widow who says she was gang-raped by eight men after they found her having sex with a married man will face nine strokes of a cane for violating religious law, pending an investigation. According to reports, the men beat the man, covered the two in sewage, and then turned them over to Islamic police. Three of the eight men have been arrested, and the head of Islamic Sharia law in the district, Ibrahim Latief, says they face up to 15 years in prison.
