Gary Coleman Rushed to Hospital

Diff'rent Strokes

Actor suffers from kidney disease.

Diff'rent Strokes actor Gary Coleman just can't catch a break. The 41-year-old was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday morning, complaining of stomach discomfort. Coleman was in L.A. to meet with the producers of his upcoming film Midgets vs. Mascots, but began feeling ill and returned to his hotel room to rest. Coleman's agent explains the hospitalization was "just precautionary." Doctors are running tests on the actor, who suffers from a congenital kidney disease called nephritis and has previously undergone two kidney transplants. Though there is no word on when Coleman will be released, his manager says he "sounded fine" on the phone.
