In a long interview with Playboy, revered and enigmatic actor Gary Oldman covered all the normal topics and the much, much more—from sobriety and his groupies to disliking most of his films. When the conversation moved to controversial remarks by fellow celebrities like Alec Baldwin an Mel Gibson, Oldman bashed double-standards and being politically correct. "We're all f-----g hypocrites. That's what I think about it. The policeman who arrested him has never used the word n----r or that fucking J--? I'm being brutally honest here. It's the hypocrisy of it that drives me crazy," he said, arguing that if TV personalities like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart used similarly offensive terms they wouldn't be targeted. Oldman must have realized how he was coming off because he later added: "You have to edit and cut half of what I've said, because it's going to make me sound like a bigot."
