InterVarsity, an evangelical college group on some 667 colleges around the country, has reportedly informed its 1,300 staffers that they will be fired if they support same-sex marriage. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA said that beginning on November 11, it can let go any individuals who disagree with their assertion that any sexual activity not between a man and a woman is immoral. They are not being asked to sign a document that discloses this belief, but rather to come forward with it if they choose to go against the group.
