Robbie Rogers never told anyone he was gay while on the soccer field. The former member of the U.S. national team tells Nightline that he had to fit into the “macho, macho man” soccer world. "Because it's sports. It's the stereotype that you're supposed to be this manly guy that is making tackles. It's beating up on other guys," he says. Rogers, who retired from a pro British team in February, is considering a comeback in the United States—he’d be the first openly gay player in men’s pro sports.
