Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip launched a rocket that landed in Sderot, Israel on Sunday. Israeli aircraft and tanks responded by shelling Beit Hanoun in Gaza. The rocket caused no injuries in the residential area in which it landed. The Israeil army said that it was targeting two posts belonging to Hamas. Hamas and Israel have been in a de facto ceasefire since 2014.
