George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins, family friend and fellow actor Matt Damon confirmed to Entertainment Tonight Canada. Clooney, 55, reportedly confirmed the news to Damon while working on a film together in the fall of 2016, when wife Amal, 39, was only eight weeks pregnant. “I’m like, ‘Are you out of your mind? Don’t tell anybody else, don’t tell anybody else. Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’” Damon recalled. This pregnancy is the first for the high-powered couple, who were married in Italy in 2014. The Clooneys have yet to officially comment on the pregnancy.
