George Soros Gets Married

LAVISH

Guests include Christine Lagarde, foreign presidents.

So this is what happens when a billionaire gets married. George Soros, 83, married health-care consultant Tamiko Bolton, 42, on Saturday in an intimate ceremony—followed by a lavish reception. Guests included IMF chief Christine Lagarde, World Bank president Jim Yong Kim, and foreign leaders such as Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, president of Liberia; New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo; U.S. House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi; and former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan. “There was no expense spared on the wedding party,” a source told the New York Post. This is Soros’s third marriage and Bolton’s second, and sources said “it’s understood” that Soros intends to one day leave the bulk of his estate to charity, but he will “provide generously” for his bride.
