It’s not just “toast”: Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has spoken several words “within the last few days,” says her spokesman. While it’s mostly unknown what she has said, reports broke Wednesday that Giffords had been able to request toast while eating breakfast one day this week. Giffords is undergoing six hours of therapy every day, including “very aggressive” speech therapy.
