Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has moved out of her Houston rehab center just five months after being shot in the head, sources tell the Houston Chronicle. Giffords will reportedly remain in the Houston area—her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, has a home in nearby League City—and will continue to receive treatment from TIRR Memorial Hermann therapists on an outpatient basis. Giffords was shot in Tuscon, Arizona, on January 8. According to her staff, she can now walk unaided, but still has trouble with speaking in full sentences.
