Maybe print it all out, just as a backup: Tens of thousands of Gmail users found their inboxes completely wiped out after a bug reset their accounts. They were shut out of their accounts and some, upon logging back in, found no record of their emails, contacts, or chat histories. Google says the error affects only 0.08 percent of its Gmail users, but that’s still 150,000 people. The company also says, “Gmail service has already been restored for some users,” but it is unclear if that means they recovered their data.
