It looks like awards season is a three-way race: King’s Speech edged out The Fighter and The Social Network by one Golden Globe nomination, getting picked for seven awards, including Best Drama, Director, and Actor. Black Swan also had a strong showing, getting nominated for Best Drama, Best Director, and Best Actress for Natalie Portman. In television, Glee is still going strong, garnering nominations for Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer, and Jane Lynch, as well as for Best Comedy Series, where it's up against 30 Rock, whose Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey were also nominated. Annette Bening will be competing with co-star Julianne Moore for Best Actress for their work in The Kids Are All Right, and Johnny Depp will be competing against himself for his work in Alice in Wonderland and The Tourist. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Ricky Gervais on January 16.
