Google's Robot Car Crashes

Sure, blame the human. Google's self-driving car crashed into another Prius near the company's Mountain View, California, headquarters. But Google says its robot autopilot is not to blame, because a human was driving at the time. Self-driving cars must legally have a human at the wheel in case anything goes wrong. Google has been working on a project that uses radar, video cameras and lasers to guide a car through traffic, which it says will eventually make driving safer and reduce highway congestion. Google says its cars have driven more than 160,000 “without incident.”
