Home Depot's billionaire co-founder Ken Langone regrets, as everyone eventually does, making a Nazi comparison. In regard to recent backlash against the super-wealthy, the major GOP donor told Politico, “If you go back to 1933, with different words, this is what Hitler was saying in Germany. You don’t survive as a society if you encourage and thrive on envy or jealousy.” Langone apologized for his word choice later, saying he meant "to discourage pitting one group against another group in a society."
