GOP Lawmakers Return to D.C.

With just five days to go, Senate leader Harry Reid is sounding off on the fiscal cliff, predicting that the national will take the dreaded fall on Jan. 1—and blaming John Boehner's "dictatorship" over the House for Washington's failure to come up with a plan. Scott Brown broke news of a nascent deal but then appeared to be dead wrong; and the House is now adjourned until Monday. Happy new year.
