Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA) announced on Wednesday that he would not seek re-election in 2018, just a day after it was revealed that the pro-life congressman had encouraged his mistress to get an abortion. “In the coming weeks I will take personal time to seek help as my family and I continue to work through our personal difficulties and seek healing. I ask you to respect our privacy during this time,” Murphy said in a statement.
