Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said Wednesday that he will not vote for the Senate GOP tax plan because it unfairly benefits corporations over other types of businesses, the Wall Street Journal reported. Johnson, the first GOP Senator to oppose the tax plan, also called the process “pretty offensive.” He said he has not been able to provide input and the public has been mislead about the nature of the tax overhaul. Republicans, which have a 52-seat majority, can lose no more than two votes so Johnson's opposition could jeopardize the Senate's hope to pass the tax plan next month.
