Now we just have to wait to hear what they decided. The jury in the Kermit Gosnell trial reached a verdict on Monday afternoon, after stating earlier in the day they were split on two counts. Gosnell, a Pennsylvania abortion doctor, is accused of snipping babies’ spinal cords during procedures at his clinic. Gosnell is facing 250 charges, including four counts of murder. Gosnell’s lawyer has argued that the defendant injected a fatal drug into the fetuses’ hearts before they took their first breath out of the womb, but prosecutors say Gosnell killed the infants after delivering them.
