On Friday, nominations were announced for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and all the usual suspects are there: Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Rihanna are among the nominees, but a few new faces also made it into the biggest categories. Rapper Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City was nominated for Album of the Year, along with The Heist by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Lorde's song "Royals" was nominated for Record of the Year, along with "Blurred Lines" and "Get Lucky." Jay Z led the pack with nine nominations; Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell Williams each garnered seven nods.
