There may be a maneater in the waters off Western Australia. An American diver became the third person killed by a shark in less than two months. A witness on a dive boat near the tourist haven of Rottnest Island saw a “large amount of bubbles” before the fatally injured 32-year-old man surfaced . The island is 11 miles from a popular Perth beach where 64-year-old Bryn Martin vanished while taking his morning swim on Oct. 10. Analysis of Martin's torn swimsuit—the only remains found—indicate he was killed by a shark.
